Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AskBotAnytime (the "Service"), operated by AskBotAnytime ("we", "us", "our"), a business registered in India. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

AskBotAnytime is a done-for-you AI support chatbot service. We (or, where enabled, you) create a knowledge base from a client's website and documents, and embed a chat widget on that website that answers visitor questions using that content, powered by third-party AI providers (see Section 6).

2. Accounts

Client accounts on AskBotAnytime are set up by our team based on the information you provide us. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis in advance through our payment processor, Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. Prices are shown in INR and may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

If a payment fails or your subscription lapses, we may pause your chatbot and dashboard access until the balance is resolved. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details on cancelling and refunds.

4. Your content

You retain all ownership of the website content and documents you provide us to build your knowledge base ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit Your Content — including to third-party AI providers — solely to operate the Service for you. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to share Your Content with us and that it doesn't violate any law or third party's rights.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Ingest or distribute unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
• Use the chatbot widget to impersonate a person or entity, or to send spam;
• Exceed the usage limits of your subscribed plan in a manner intended to abuse the Service.

6. Third-party providers

The Service relies on third-party providers to function — including OpenAI (for AI-generated responses and embeddings), Qdrant (for vector search), Razorpay (for payments), and Resend (for transactional email). Their own terms and privacy practices apply to the processing they perform. We select these providers carefully but aren't responsible for their outages or errors.

7. AI-generated responses

Chatbot responses are generated automatically by AI models based on the content you've provided. We don't guarantee that responses will always be accurate, complete, or appropriate. You're responsible for reviewing how your chatbot behaves and for any decisions made based on its responses. Don't rely on it for medical, legal, or financial advice to end users without human review.

8. Intellectual property

The AskBotAnytime platform, software, branding, and documentation are our property (or licensed to us) and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of that ownership to you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted/error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or fail to pay applicable fees. You may stop using the Service at any time; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how billing is affected.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date; continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in Bengaluru, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms.
